The purpose of creating a blog site for writing
Since retiring from the University of Oregon, where I was a faculty member for 30 years, I have committed myself to advocating for artists working in the performing and visual arts. I have written numerous articles for Oregon ArtsWatch and other publications, focusing on music, dance, theatre, and other visual and time-based arts.
As a storyteller, I will use this site to explore topics of interest to me, including fictional stories, essays on the arts and life, and artist interviews.
